Ayush Homam

Ayush Homam, also known as Ayusha Homa, is a traditional Vedic ritual performed in Hinduism for the well-being and longevity of an individual. "Ayush" means life, and "Homam" refers to a fire ritual.

The Ayush Homam is typically performed for infants on their first star birthday.

This ceremony involves the recitation of mantras, offerings of herbs and ghee into the sacred fire, and invoking the blessings of Ayur Devata(God of Life). The ritual is performed by a priest or a group of priests who have expertise in performing the Homam.

It is believed that this ritual helps in removing negative energies, purifying the environment, and bringing positive vibrations that contribute to the overall well-being and longevity of life.
